This October, we are delighted to welcome food writer, stylist and cook Alexandra Dudley to Thyme for an evening inspired by her brilliant new cookbook, Come for Supper: Foolproof Recipes for Busy People.
Known for her effortlessly elegant approach to entertaining, Alexandra champions seasonal cooking, simple techniques and food that's made to be shared. Together with Chef Director Charlie Hibbert, she will cook a four-course menu from Come for Supper.
Before dinner, Alexandra will be in conversation with food writer Molly Tait-Hyland. She will also be signing copies of her book, which can be pre-ordered when you reserve your table - or purchased on the night.

There’s something about saxophone and double bass that changes a room. The James Hamilton Maddock Duo will bring that unmistakable jazz atmosphere to this social event — smooth, stylish and full of life, with enough swing and personality to make the evening feel just a little more special.

Join decorative artist Melissa White for a magical workshop, painting wooden boxes ideal for gifting or storage with chalk paints from Annie Sloan.
Inspired by Elizabethan wall paintings, Melissa will share processes of layering, mark-making, distressing and waxing, creating mythical scenes, of Nymphs, Satyrs and white harts roaming the yuletide forests.
All materials, boxes, refreshments and a seasonal, locally sourced, sharing plate lunch are included.
