The Swan
Just a short stroll from Thyme, the Swan sits at the heart of the village of Southrop adjacent to the green.
Its recorded history dates back as far as 1606 when it was known as the Bakehouse, serving bread and ale to the farm workers.
The Swan is characterised by roaring fires, higgledy-piggledy wooden furniture and low-slung ceilings: the perfect setting for cosy feasting and merry-making.

Steak Night
Every Wednesday from 25th February
Come and join us for a celebration of the most wonderful rare breed beef, all butchered here and served with fries, salad and sauces.
Each week we will feature a rare breed animal, from some of our favourite farms in England, showcasing all the fabulous cuts.
Keep an eye out for the board on your way in to choose your favourite cut and weight of steak.

A lovely sharing lamb special is on the menu for Mother’s Day, please call us to place your pre-order.
Braised Lamb Shoulder for four, served with fennel, peas, new potatoes & salsa verde, £120.
We are running an extended lunch service, until 4pm.
