The Swan
Just a short stroll from Thyme, the Swan sits at the heart of the village of Southrop adjacent to the green.
Its recorded history dates back as far as 1606 when it was known as the Bakehouse, serving bread and ale to the farm workers.
The Swan is characterised by roaring fires, higgledy-piggledy wooden furniture and low-slung ceilings: the perfect setting for cosy feasting and merry-making.

Wednesday Steak Night
Every Wednesday we celebrate rare-breed beef from our favourite farms, butchered here and served with fries, salad and sauces.
Check the board on arrival to choose your cut.

Easter Sunday (5th April)
Allow us to host your Easter Sunday Lunch at the Swan, with a delicious roast leg of lamb on our specials menu.
We will be open for lunch on Easter Monday too.
