Artelium Wine
Artelium is an emerging English wine estate confidently redefining what English wine can be. Founded just a few short years ago by Julie Bretland and Mark Collins, Artelium produces both sparkling and still wines, from carefully selected vineyards across the South Downs and is founded on a philosophy of artistry, skill and precision. The estate is quickly becoming known for its refined approach to contemporary winemaking and developing a name synonymous with craftsmanship and elegance. Fruit is hand-harvested from select parcels, winemaking decisions are deliberate and considered, and extended lees ageing is used to build structure and long‑term character. The approach is uncompromising; every detail from harvesting fruit to extended lees ageing reflects a pursuit of nuance and texture. This approach has earned Artelium a growing reputation for producing wines with balance, texture and a clear sense of place. The estate invests in regenerative farming, supports collaboration with growers and makers, and takes a long‑term view of sustainability. The aim is simple: produce world-class wines, whilst maintaining the artistry and craftsmanship that form the foundation of the ethos.
