Join renowned designers Mary Graham and Nicole Salvesen of Salvesen Graham, together with writer Aimee Farrell, Contributing Editor at the Financial Times’ How To Spend It, for an inspiring discussion on the art of country living and their debut book, A New English Style, at Thyme’s Tithe Barn.

Salvesen Graham will share their signature principles and explore how to bring classic English style into your home - from the art of layering and pattern, to blending antiques with contemporary pieces, and more.

Following the talk, there will be time for an audience Q&A and a book signing with Mary and Nicole.

12pm - 1pm - Lunch in the Ox Barn

*Talk and Ox Barn lunch ticket (£50) includes access to the talk, welcome refreshments and a two-course lunch in the Ox Barn (prix fixe menu). Guests may be seated on a communal table - if you have a seating preference, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you on the day.


Salvesen Graham

Nicole Salvesen and Mary Graham are experienced and award-winning interior designers. Their design studio, Salvesen Graham, was established in 2013 and offers a comprehensive design service that creates beautifully classic and carefully curated spaces for both commercial and private clients across the globe. In 2016, Mary and Nicole launched The Collection by Salvesen Graham, which features their own fabric, wallpaper and furniture ranges.  

In May this year, the pair launched their debut book, A New English Style, which celebrates the very best of Salvesen Graham’s skilled and creative “Future Heritage” approach to English country house style - balancing tradition with modernity to create spaces that withstand the test of time. Their studio is based in London. 


Aimee Farrell

Aimee Farrell is a British writer and consultant specialising in design, interiors and the decorative arts.  Her work is frequently published in the Financial Times’ HTSI magazine, where she is a contributing editor, as well as The New York Times’ T Magazine. She began her career at British Vogue, where she worked for more than a decade.

She is the author of the recently published Cabana book, photographed by Antonio Monfreda, 'Tuscan Rooms: Interiors From The Heartland of The Renaissance' (Rizzoli). Based in Cambridge, she is a member of the Kettle’s Yard Friends Events Committee, hosting fundraising talks at the influential house and gallery with speakers including Sir Paul Smith, Jonathan Anderson and Rose Uniacke.
