Following on from summer’s Modern Muralists exhibition, Melissa shares her studio techniques for transforming solid 8cm wooden baubles into heirloom decorations for the home and tree.
Using fabulous Annie Sloan Chalk Paint, you will learn to build tactical, layered base coats, experiment with quick and expressive seasonal motifs, and finish your pieces with subtle distressing and clear wax for an aged patina.
The session will be relaxed, playful, and accessible to beginners and confident painters alike, with plenty of inspiration and guidance to spark ideas.
Participants will paint one or two finished wooden baubles, completed with signature Bertioli ribbon from Thyme ready for hanging.
