Old Walls

 Old Walls is a typical Cotswold cottage spread over three higgledy-piggledy floors. It is small but perfectly formed, with sweeping views over Thyme’s green grazing land and flock of Black Welsh Mountain sheep.

Ideal for small families or couples, Old Walls is nestled in the middle of the village of Southrop.

A cosy sitting room with a wood-burning stove is at the heart of the cottage, complemented by a galley kitchen and a lovely conservatory for dining.

Old Walls has two double bedrooms (one of which can be twinned) and two bathrooms. The landing offers the option of a further two children's beds.

The cottage comes complete with a private walled garden that backs onto the Thyme estate.

THIS COTTAGE IS SELF-CATERED. WE WELCOME CHILDREN UNDER 12 TO STAY. PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE AGE RESTRICTIONS IN OTHER AREAS OF THYME INCLUDING THE SPA AND POOL AS WELL AS THE OX BARN RESTAURANT FOR BREAKFAST AND DINNER. Old walls has a two-night minimum stay.

We strongly recommend that you make reservations for the restaurants and spa ahead of your stay as we can not guarantee availability.

Due to our remote location, taxi bookings must be made in advance. We would be delighted to assist with these arrangements.

We have created a peaceful, grown-up environment at Thyme and we welcome children over 12 years of age. Our Village Cottage, Old Walls is child friendly and perfectly suited to young families. Please note, there are age restrictions in the Spa and in the Ox Barn for breakfast and dinner.
