Every year we plan very carefully what we are going to grow in the kitchen garden.

Arriving at Thyme is a lovely experience, the reassuring crunch of gravel underfoot, the honeyed Cotswold stone and carefully curated spaces prompt guests to visibly relax, letting the peace & tranquility of the estate wash the pressures of the outside world away.

The story of a seed, a scientist, an artist & an exhibition. Many years ago my brother gave me a collection of seedpods.

The village of Southrop is quintessential Cotswolds: all meandering streams and honeyed stone, and it has a pretty church nestling between a Medieval manor and the exquisitely renovated buildings that make up Thyme.
