Head North
Due north of Thyme, is Stow-on-the-Wold, once capital of the wool industry, this delightful market town houses Cutter Brooks, Amanda Brooks’ chic country shop filled with gorgeous homewares and fabulous clothes.
Further north is the beautiful Chipping Campden, with a sweep of limestone buildings covering a host of architectural styles. The magnificent Kiftsgate Court Garden is nearby as well as wonderful walks in the surrounding countryside, including the 104 mile Cotswold Way which starts in the town and continues all the way to Bath.
There are several famed gardens situated nearby including Sezincote House & Gardens, a 200 year old Mogul Indian Palace set in romantic gardens and Batsford Arboretum, garden centre and café, situated just a mile outside of picturesque Moreton-in-Marsh.

Kiftsgate Court Gardens are situated in north of Gloucestershire, on the Warwickshire border, about 45 minutes drive from Thyme. It is worth the trip, the most phenomenal gardens ran by a family team.
Cotswold Falconry Centre provides a memorable insight into the wonderful world of birds of prey with a focus on conservation. A variety of experiences are available to allow you to get even closer to the birds.
Longborough Opera is an intimate 500-seat theatre set amidst the rolling hills of the Cotswolds. The annual festival runs from early June to early August and is a perfect place to take one of our picnics to enjoy in the 90-minute interval.
The Fox Inn is a quaint village pub nestled in the pretty village of Oddington, with the neighbouring village of Adlestrop, frequented by Jane Austen and the subject of Edward Thomas’ poem a lovely place to stroll around.
Cotswolds Distillery has been producing natural spirits since 2004, including the award-winning Cotswold Dry Gin. Enjoy a wonderful tour of the distillery with a tasting of their delicious local gin.
A day trip to Broadway
Broadway, often referred to as the ‘Jewel of the Cotswolds’, is also situated along The Cotswold Way. Its chestnut tree lined High Street includes The Trinity House Art Gallery, amongst other independent shops and tea rooms.
The iconic landmark of Broadway Tower is set within a 50-acre estate of parkland with resident red deer. The Georgian folly tower houses exhibitions about its past including becoming a holiday home of William Morris and can be climbed to enjoy breath-taking views which span up to 16 counties.
Overlooking Broadway, Cotswold Lavender is a third generation family farm harvesting lavender at the peak of summer sunshine and distilling using traditional methods before being aged.
