Graham Grafton

Graham Grafton’s culinary career began in the mid-eighties in the most renowned of London restaurants, starting in Regent Street’s Café Royal, through the kitchens of Le Caprice and The Ivy to name but two, settling at Bibendum in South Kensington for the first half of the nineties.   He then joined Michelin starred Chez Bruce & in France Michelin starred La Bouitte in beautiful St Martin de Belleville, before returning to the UK and settling in The Cotswolds.

From 1999-2015 Graham was Head Chef and then Executive Chef for both The Village Pub at Barnsley & Barnsley House Hotel before overseeing the opening and event catering for Soho Farmhouse.

Unassuming, a wry wit and with a depth of food knowledge that is truly impressive, his strengths are never more obvious than when mentoring our younger chefs. He has a passion for seasonal home-grown produce that runs through all his menus and the classes he delivers in The Cookery School, a perfect fit for Thyme.
