As the founding ingredient of Thyme, The Cookery School showcases our ‘love of the land’.
Classes often start in the kitchen garden, showing guests how the produce is grown before harvesting for their menu; before preparing & cooking their meal under the guidance of Thyme’s chefs. The 'Instinctive Cook' is our flagship class, starting with the best seasonal ingredients fresh from the garden or your local market and exploring flavour combinations that inspire creative, confident cookery.
Other classes lead with culinary influences from around the world, whilst still using the freshest ingredients from the kitchen garden, farm and from local farmers and artisans. Underpinned by our ethos of the thoughtful sourcing of ingredients and sustainability.
