December-February - the kitchen garden is closed to visitors through the winter months
Our kitchen gardens sit adjacent to the water meadows of the River Leach. With its rich alluvial soils, it is the perfect place for vegetable growing. Productive all year round with poly tunnels to extend the seasons, we grow a wide variety of heritage and heirloom varietals that give us inspiration for our menus. The fields of the estate are home to rarebreed Cotswold & Welsh Black Mountain Sheep, our honey bees in the wild flower meadows, our poultry and pigs.
Cookery classes, cocktails, from breakfast through to our lunches and dinners, this is the very heart of everything we do.
For the love of the land....
